Kristen’s description of her work:
I’m a lover of all things summer. Rooted in Southern California and inspired by travels to Hawaii and Palm Springs, my work reflects the warmth, openness, and ease of modern and coastal living. It is inspired by the way light and atmosphere shape our experience of a place and the memories we carry from it. My favorite moments are when life feels less rushed and more present—afternoons that linger, air scented with salt water and SPF, and any excuse to go barefoot. Days spent offline, watching palm trees sway while airplanes and clouds drift overhead. Kicking back and catching up in the cool, breezy retreat of a patio. Moments that leave you feeling refreshed by a sunny dose of Vitamin D and a little R&R. Working between abstraction and representation, I simplify forms and soften details to create that kind of mood versus a specific place. Each piece is created to do more than complement a room—they are intentionally designed to make a space feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to the way people want to live. The result is art that feels elevated but relaxed, offering a more modern interpretation of life by the water.
