I am an oil painter with a BFA in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I minored in portrait arts.
I have a passion for painting people AND pets.
I work from photographic reference, completing sepia based underpainting before proceeding to the top layers of the piece.
I charge by the square inch – $25.00
The paintings are varnished and unframed.
The client supplies the photos, but they must be high resolution.
I use only the finest quality paints and canvases.

My paintings are juxtaposition narratives of nature and the human presence.
I eschew traditional, romantic portrayals into hidden photo-realism or contemporary abstracted realms.
Exhibiting at the New Orleans Museum Art in 1967, brief mentorship with artist Georgia Oa ‘Keefe, I have, since, exhibited in the Venice, Florence, Milan, Lake Como, London, Paris, Shanghai and US museums, Chiba and currently at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art. My designs are seen on television, Broadway and in private collections.

Suzi works in acrylic, watercolor, or pastel and had a Mendocino Watertower gallery for 12 years. She lives in her rv and can come to you to paint. Rates depend on the subject matter and medium and size but a minimum of $325 is a good place to start! Suzi can design cards for you, paint a mural on your water tank or ? And she has won many awards for her seascapes and Trompe l’oeil paintings!
