Blending the familiar with the unexpected, she leads the viewer on a seductive path of discovery.When looking at Lynn’s work, you quickly notice an emphasis on geometric shapes. Equally important are the organic areas within the same painting. Combining hard edge geometric form with the softness of natural surroundings is essential to establish contrast and surprise within each work.
Lynn Welker’s goal is to temporarily shift attention from a world of technology to one that reconnects people to the richness of the land.
