Raised in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies surrounded by abundant nature, Isabelle Alessandra channels those joyful childhood memories when she creates her abstract work. The richness and depth of her colors and compositions is achieved by building up multiple layers of acrylic paint on birch wood panels. She then scratches and sands back layers revealing the history of the painting. The results are stunningly bright and at the same time can be quiet and intimate. Alessandra has exhibited internationally and is represented by galleries in California, Oregon, Idaho, Massachusetts, and the prestigious Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach.
