A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY | Exhibition by LYNN WELKER
Sandstone Gallery is pleased to announce a solo exhibition by long time exhibitor, Lynn Welker. Welker's abstract paintings are focused on the character of landscape views and ever changing details. Each painting shelters stories that are waiting to unfold. Blending the familiar with the unexpected, she leads the viewer on a seductive path of discovery. Opening reception: FEBRUARY 1, 6-9 p.m.

Starry Night | Exhibition by Sunny Kim
Sunny’s abstract paintings are expressions of cosmic formations. In Sunny’s words, “Each canvas represents and is a symbol of movements and colors of heavenly bodies and their celestial patterns in opposition—a state of both chaos and order!” The painting seen here, Starry Night 23-ll, holds all the energy present in Kim's interpretation of the cosmos.

Landscape Painting Demo on Zoom with Sharon Weaver
This one hour online meeting is a rotating 'how-to' demo on painting techniques. Students can give input on a painting they are working on that is giving them problems and Sharon will show the class how to tackle that issue or she will work on one of her own studio paintings. She may also critique paintings that students have sent in.
