Annette was raised in Indiana, and because her grandmother was an artist, has always lived with original oil paintings on her walls. After attending the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) she went on to design beachwear for companies such as OP. Annette has been painting commissioned portraits for over twenty years. In her current painting collections, she is mixing art history and pop culture with a touch of humor, and often using Laguna Beach as a backdrop.
