Painting - Watercolor
I've always been fascinated by color and light. I was most likely influenced by the wonderful sunsets at the beach in Corona del Mar where I lived as a child.
I'm drawn to the excitement, surprise and wonder of watercolor. I enjoy the discipline of planning each new art piece. What order of steps do I need to take? What layers of color to use; how to protect the white of the paper so I don't lose the "punch" I want to convey...that special nuance that inspired me in the first place!
I am retired after working over 30 years with The Walt Disney Company, and live and paint in Anaheim, California.
I am a juried exhibitor at Laguna Art-A-Fair during the summer, and my artwork can also be seen at the Quorum Art Gallery, located in Laguna Beach, California.
I teach watercolor and paint pouring lessons, and do demonstrations and workshops throughout the year. I belong to numerous art organizations, and have been published in the "Art Lovers Cookbook," and "International Contemporary Masters IV."
I accept commissioned art requests as well as create custom art pieces I call "My Favorite Things; It's All About You!" (see my "It's All About You" Page).
My artwork has been exhibited at; Disney Alicante Art Gallery, Taste of Anaheim--Taste of the Arts, Chemers Gallery, Gallery 212, Quorum Gallery and the Laguna Beach Watercolor Gallery.
