Photography Tours & Workshops
Every photographer has a vision. I first had a vision at age of 12th when I was a child, once my father gave me my first film camera. This unknown world captured me then. I started exploring the wilderness around the city I was borne in search of unusual to convert it in to artwork. Today as a photographer, I still like to experiment and explore different locations with interesting subjects, that carry me sometimes beyond the subject itself . My Passion grew and developed to this days and beyond. Today I like to shear my passion and teach what I learn for the last many years with new comers or not so new in the photography world.
I will always remain captive of this mesmerizing world of photography. It is a unique passion that leaves me today with more and more challenges and an instable appetite to keep up with its advancement and challenges.
In 1994 I joined Art Wolfe Inc., traveling as Art Wolfe’s assistant on photo shoots and Travel to the Edge TV serials , co lead Photo tours for the last 10 years overseas and photo workshops in North America and world wide.
My photographs have appeared in many books and Magazines world wide , Including:
”Audubon “, " Outside" ," Backpacker", "National Geographic", "International Wildlife", "Midwest Express", "Time", "Popular Photography ( USA)", "German Geo", "Nature Foto (Germany)", "Terre Sauvage"," La Figaro (France)", "Sinra ( Japan)"," Asian Geo"," Kids Discover" and an international add for the Hasselblad X-Pan.
Books publications: C is for Coyote: A Southwest Alphabet Book, Wild Colors, Alaska Animal Babies, Hide and Seek : Nature's Best Vanishing Acts, South West colors and Megadiversity.
In Addition, I collaborated with acclaimed Photographer Art Wolfe on Colorado, Pacific Northwest, Frogs, The Nature of Lions.
My photographs are represented by major stock agencies like: Getty communication, Danita Delimont, AGE, Okapia, Corbis, On Asia.
I was born in Romania, and moved to the USA in 1989 and now I live in the USA and Thailand with my wife and son.
