Painting - Oil
Welcome to my journey.
I have been trained and worked in the computer industry as a hardware specialist for many years. A far cry from the artistic endeavor I am currently undertaking!
Although I picked up the paintbrush rather recently, I feel as though I've been on this path a good part of my life. Always creative, I've ventured down many different "crafty" side roads. Not until I began painting did I realize that this was my one true route.
In both plein air and studio works, I try to portray the beauty I perceive using oil and acrylic paints. I paint what calls or has special meaning to me.
The completion of each painting allows me to take a compass reading, to see where I am, and how much more there is ahead. I feel so blessed to experience such joy and fulfillment along the way.
