Southern California Plein Air Painters Association (SOCALPAPA)

Established in 2001, SOCALPAPA’s objectives are to bring together painters of all media with an interest in plein-air art, to promote education and to provide them opportunities to paint together and exhibit and sell their work.

SOCALPAPA believes painting together with other like-minded artists creates camaraderie, an atmosphere for learning and promotes high standards. We hold social events, collaborative paint-out sessions, exhibits, juried competitions and raise funds for philanthropic endeavors, as a not-for-profit association.
