Portrait collage constructed of fine art papers, artist’s own designed and printed papers, and found images. The substrate is painted gallery-style canvas, 36 in x 24 in. The face is the face of one of the artist’s nieces, the garment is based on a cotton, multicoloured kimono / coat owned by the artist. The title is the title of a centuries old, very haunting Irish folksong.
